Although the Droid Eris has not been as successful as HTC anticipated, many users are happy with their decisions. I can say first hand that I wouldn't trade mine for any other phone and many other users would say the same.
With it's 3.2" touch screen, it allows users to navigate freely to personalize almost everything about it. It has six different screens that users can customize for almost every day of the week. It has a 5.0 megapixel camera with a zoom feature that requires a simple pinch of the finger together on the screen. It offers thousands of mostly free innovative applications such as games, yellowpages, recipes, and a dictionary. It is a trademark of Google Inc. so it comes with a Gmail account but, users can set up other personal email accounts. Another nice feature, Google Maps, tells the location and users can get get directions to anywhere in just a few seconds. The phone updates constantly and the weekly weather is available on the home screen. Users can connect with friends through the Facebook application, which is my personal favorite. This application allows users to sync their contacts with their friends on Facebook so they can receive updates. Last but certainly not least, users can connect their device to a WiFi connection to browse the internet and download emails at an even faster rate than the Eris offers.
